Summary
This study aimed to test a medical device designed to physically remove dangerous blood clots from the lungs of people with acute pulmonary embolism. It planned to enroll adults with a specific type of severe clot to see if the procedure was safe and effective at quickly reducing heart strain. The trial was terminated after enrolling only one participant, so no conclusions can be drawn from it.
