Veteran PTSD study finds standard therapy still best
NCT ID NCT07285161
First seen Jan 08, 2026 · Last updated Apr 16, 2026 · Updated 18 times
Summary
This study tested whether adding a special conversation tool to standard PTSD therapy could help veterans feel better. 44 veterans with PTSD were randomly assigned to receive either the extra tool sessions or just the usual therapy. The results showed that while both groups improved, the extra tool did not provide significant additional benefits for quality of life or PTSD symptoms.
