New tool aims to uncover the hidden daily struggles of kids with PTSD

NCT ID NCT07368166

Summary

This study is testing a new questionnaire called PTSD-iMPACT, designed to measure how post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) affects the daily lives of children and teens. Researchers will give the questionnaire to about 1,200 young people and their caregivers in Switzerland and Germany to see if it accurately captures their difficulties at home, school, and with friends. The goal is to create a reliable tool that can help doctors better understand and monitor the real-world impact of PTSD on young patients.
