New eye surgery aims to reduce pterygium regrowth
NCT ID NCT07343011
Summary
This study is testing a specific surgical technique for removing pterygium, a non-cancerous growth on the eye's surface. The goal is to see if this method, which avoids leaving a bare patch of tissue, lowers the chance of the growth coming back. Researchers will measure how often the pterygium returns and if patients' vision improves after the surgery.
