New eye drops aim to shrink and stop pesky eye growth

Summary
This study is testing whether two different strengths of an experimental eye drop called CBT-001 can safely reduce redness and stop the growth of pterygium, a fleshy growth on the eye's surface. About 660 participants with pterygium will use either the real drops or a placebo (vehicle) twice daily for two years. The main goals are to see if the drops lessen eye redness and prevent the pterygium from getting larger.
