Summary
This study looks at a new tool called PT-PENCIL that helps doctors decide how much physical therapy each hospital patient needs. The goal is to see if using this tool helps more patients get well enough to go home instead of to a nursing facility. About 9,700 adults in the hospital will be included, and the study will measure how well the tool works and how therapists like it.
