Summary

This study looks at whether taking psychotropic medications (drugs that affect mood or thinking) increases the chance of falling in older adults. Researchers will follow 398 people aged 60 and older for one year after they leave the hospital. The goal is to better understand this risk and help prevent future falls and fractures.
