Study reveals gap between what psychologists think they know and what they actually know
NCT ID NCT05421637
Summary
This study surveyed 1,506 psychology students across Latin America to measure their actual knowledge versus their perceived understanding of evidence-based practices. Researchers wanted to see if students' confidence in using research-backed treatments matched their factual knowledge. The online survey took about five minutes and compared students' self-reported familiarity with their scores on knowledge questions.
