NCT ID NCT07386730
First seen Feb 04, 2026 · Last updated May 13, 2026 · Updated 17 times
Summary
This study looks at how two drugs, psilocybin and dextromethorphan, affect brain activity in healthy older adults (ages 50-85) who report low well-being. Researchers want to see if these drugs change brain waves, reduce inflammation markers, and if Alzheimer's-related biomarkers influence the results. Participants will have up to 4 in-person visits and 4 remote visits over 3 months, including a single dosing session lasting 8-12 hours.
