New hope for slowing a rare brain disease

NCT ID NCT07173803

Summary

This is a clinical trial platform designed to test multiple new treatments for Progressive Supranuclear Palsy (PSP), a rare and serious brain disorder. It will start by testing two investigational drugs, AADvac1 and LM11A-31, to see if they are safe and can slow down the worsening of the disease. About 440 participants with early-stage PSP will be randomly assigned to receive either one of the study drugs or a placebo, and their symptoms and disease progression will be closely monitored.
