New hope for slowing devastating brain disorder

Summary
This study is testing whether an oral medication called FNP-223 can slow the progression of progressive supranuclear palsy (PSP), a rare brain disorder that affects movement and balance. About 241 participants with early-stage PSP will take either the medication or a placebo for 52 weeks to see if it helps maintain their abilities. Researchers will measure changes in symptoms, daily function, and safety throughout the year-long trial.
