New hip pain block could speed recovery after surgery

Summary
This study compares two types of nerve blocks for pain relief after hip replacement surgery. About 130 adults will be randomly assigned to receive either a psoas sheath block or a standard fascia iliaca block. The goal is to see which block leads to better recovery and less pain medication use in the first 48 hours after surgery.
