First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 22, 2026 · Updated 34 times

Summary

This study aims to understand how psilocybin, the active ingredient in magic mushrooms, changes visual perception and brain activity. Researchers will give healthy adults different doses of psilocybin and use brain scans (fMRI) to see which brain areas are involved. The goal is to learn more about the brain's visual system, not to treat any disease.
