Yale tests 'Microdosing' magic mushrooms on the brain
NCT ID NCT07449351
Summary
This small, early-stage study aims to understand if taking very small, non-psychedelic doses of psilocybin (from 'magic mushrooms') for 30 days can change mood, thinking skills, or brain activity. Researchers will compare 20 healthy adults who have never used psychedelics, giving some the microdose and others a placebo. The goal is to gather basic knowledge to see if this approach could one day be studied for conditions like depression.
