NCT ID NCT05265546
First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 12, 2026 · Updated 32 times
Summary
This study looks at how psilocybin, the active ingredient in magic mushrooms, changes what people see and how their brains process visual information. Researchers will give healthy adults different doses of psilocybin and use brain scans to measure activity while they do visual tasks. The goal is to understand the brain mechanisms behind psilocybin's effects on perception, not to treat any disease.
