Summary

This study tests whether using two brain monitors together during heart surgery can prevent short- and long-term memory and thinking problems (called postoperative cognitive disorders). The monitors track oxygen levels and brain activity, allowing doctors to make real-time adjustments. The trial will include 80 adults having heart surgery, with a special focus on those 65 and older.
