Double attack on deadly tumors: radiation and chemo combo enters final testing

NCT ID NCT07185672

Summary

This trial is testing if adding chemotherapy to a standard radiation treatment (called PRRT) works better for controlling aggressive neuroendocrine tumors in the gut or pancreas. It will enroll about 162 adults whose tumors show signs of being more active on a special scan (FDG PET). The main goal is to see if the combination treatment keeps the cancer from growing for a longer time compared to the radiation treatment alone.
