Your own blood vs. your own serum: which eases arthritic knees better?
NCT ID NCT07473232
Summary
This study aims to see which of two injection treatments works better for people with early-stage knee osteoarthritis. Researchers will compare a single injection of platelet-rich plasma (PRP) against an injection of a patient's own specially prepared serum. They will measure changes in pain, knee function, and walking ability over three months to determine which treatment provides more relief.
