First seen Dec 09, 2025 · Last updated May 24, 2026 · Updated 22 times
Summary
This study tested whether platelet-rich plasma (PRP) injections or a home exercise program works better for people with partial rotator cuff tears causing chronic shoulder pain. Forty adults with shoulder pain lasting over six months received either three monthly PRP injections or a structured exercise routine. Researchers measured pain, movement, and function two months after treatment to see which approach provided more relief.
