First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 14, 2026 · Updated 25 times
Summary
This study tests if injecting platelet-rich plasma (made from your own blood) into the bladder wall can ease overactive bladder symptoms as well as Botox, but with fewer side effects and longer relief. About 48 adults who haven't improved with standard treatments will be randomly assigned to receive either PRP or Botox injections. Researchers will track symptom changes, bladder function, and safety over one year.
