One-Shot treatment tested for stubborn back pain
NCT ID NCT07268885
Summary
This study tested a single, targeted injection of a patient's own platelet-rich plasma (PRP) to treat chronic lower back pain from disc and joint problems. It involved 29 adults whose pain hadn't improved with standard treatments like medication and physical therapy. Researchers tracked their pain levels and ability to function for six months after the injection to see if it was safe and helpful.
