New injection strategy aims to ease debilitating knee pain

NCT ID NCT07339137

Summary

This study is testing if a new way of giving platelet-rich plasma (PRP) injections works better for chronic knee arthritis pain. It compares standard injections into the knee joint with a combined approach that also targets areas around the joint. Researchers will measure changes in pain, daily function, and knee structure in 42 participants to see which method provides more relief.
