Could a simple blood injection heal your wrist pain?

NCT ID NCT03830775

Summary

This study aimed to test whether injections of platelet-rich plasma (PRP) could help people with painful tears in their wrist ligaments. PRP is made from a patient's own concentrated blood and contains healing factors. The trial planned to compare PRP injections against placebo injections to see which better reduced pain and improved wrist function. However, the study was withdrawn before any participants were enrolled.
