Could your own blood heal a painful wrist injury?

NCT ID NCT03830775

Summary

This study aimed to test if an injection of Platelet-Rich Plasma (PRP)—made from a patient's own concentrated blood—could reduce pain and improve function in people with a common wrist ligament tear (TFCC). It planned to compare the PRP injection directly against a placebo (saltwater) injection. The trial was withdrawn before any participants were enrolled.
