Could a simple injection speed up ACL surgery recovery?
NCT ID NCT07470359
Summary
This study is testing if adding a platelet-rich plasma (PRP) injection during ACL knee surgery helps people recover better. Patients having surgery to repair a torn ACL will be randomly assigned to receive either the PRP injection or a placebo saline injection. Researchers will then compare how well their knee functions and recovers over the next year.
