Could a blood gel finally close painful anal fistulas?

Summary
This study tests whether a gel made from a patient's own blood platelets can heal perianal fistulas (abnormal tunnels near the anus). One hundred adults with this condition will receive the gel treatment. Doctors will check if the fistula closes using physical exams and MRI scans.
