Could a simple injection help singers and speakers recover their voice faster?

NCT ID NCT07300800

Summary

This study is testing whether an injection of platelet-rich plasma (PRP) can help people recover their voice better after surgery to remove non-cancerous vocal cord growths. Researchers will compare 64 adults who have the surgery, with half receiving the PRP injection and half receiving standard care. They will measure voice quality, vocal fatigue, and overall quality of life at 1 and 3 months after the procedure to see if the PRP makes a difference.
