NCT ID NCT07300800

First seen Jan 11, 2026 · Last updated May 18, 2026 · Updated 19 times

Summary

This study tests whether injecting platelet-rich plasma (PRP) into the vocal cords during surgery helps people recover their voice better than surgery alone. Sixty-four adults with non-cancerous vocal cord growths will be split into two groups: one gets PRP, the other standard care. Voice quality and fatigue will be measured before surgery and at 1 and 3 months after.
