First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 14, 2026 · Updated 23 times
Summary
This study tests two methods of delivering platelet-rich plasma (PRP) to help adults who have had a poor sense of smell for over three months. One method uses a small sponge soaked in PRP placed in the nose, the other uses an injection. Sixty participants will receive one treatment and then do daily smell training for three months to see which approach works better and is more comfortable.
