Could a blood injection boost IVF success for tough cases?

NCT ID NCT07199868

Summary

This study tested whether injecting a concentrated platelet solution (PRP) into the ovaries could improve fertility treatment outcomes for women who typically produce few eggs. It involved 102 women with a poor ovarian response, comparing those who received the PRP injection before their IVF cycle to those who did not. The main goal was to see if PRP led to more mature eggs and better-quality embryos.
