First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 21, 2026 · Updated 25 times

Summary

This study tested whether injecting platelet-rich plasma (PRP) into the ovaries could help women with poor ovarian reserve produce more mature eggs and embryos during IVF. 102 women were split into two groups: one received PRP injections, the other did not. Researchers compared egg and embryo numbers and quality between the groups to see if PRP offers any benefit.
