First seen Jan 19, 2026 · Last updated May 06, 2026 · Updated 16 times

Summary

This study compares two radiation methods for people with advanced nasopharyngeal cancer (a type of throat cancer). Participants will receive chemotherapy and immunotherapy along with either proton therapy (IMPT) or standard X-ray radiation (IMRT). The goal is to see which approach causes fewer severe side effects and helps people live longer without the cancer returning. About 300 adults aged 18-70 with newly diagnosed, high-risk disease will take part.
