Can a protein shake and home workouts get you home faster after hip surgery?
NCT ID NCT07329010
Summary
This study aims to see if a simple two-week program before hip replacement surgery helps people recover faster. Patients aged 50-70 will either follow the program—taking whey protein and doing home exercises—or receive standard care. Researchers will check if this leads to less inflammation, better nutrition, quicker walking after surgery, and a shorter hospital stay.
