First seen Feb 04, 2026 · Last updated May 04, 2026 · Updated 11 times
Summary
This study looked at 27 adults with a below-knee amputation who use a prosthetic limb. Researchers wanted to understand how satisfaction with the prosthetic, body image, and ability to do daily activities are connected. Participants filled out questionnaires about their prosthetic, how they feel about their body, and their involvement in daily and social life. The goal is to help improve rehabilitation plans for people after amputation.
