First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 16, 2026 · Updated 31 times

Summary

This study aims to find the best prosthetic foot stiffness to help people with below-knee amputations keep their balance during everyday activities like walking, turning, and carrying items. Twenty participants will try three different stiffness levels while performing nine common tasks. The goal is to see if one stiffness works better for balance, which could lead to smarter, more comfortable prosthetic feet.
