Mind-Reading armband aims to revolutionize prosthetic control

NCT ID NCT07071584

Summary

This study tested a new system called Phantom X that helps people with below-elbow amputations control prosthetic hands using signals from their arm muscles. Participants would have tried the non-invasive system during a single clinic visit, performing simple hand tasks and comparing it to their usual prosthesis. The goal was to see if this new approach makes prosthetic control easier and more intuitive for daily activities.
