NCT ID NCT01732991

First seen Jan 07, 2026 · Last updated May 05, 2026 · Updated 19 times

Summary

This study looked at how prostate tissue heals after a Greenlight laser treatment for benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH). Researchers used MRI and special ultrasound to measure the area of dead tissue created by the laser. Twelve men over 40 who needed surgery took part. The goal was to understand the healing process, not to test if the treatment works.
