New combo aims to control prostate cancer without harsh hormone therapy

Summary

This study is testing whether a targeted drug called Pluvicto can be used instead of long-term hormone therapy when combined with radiation for men with locally advanced prostate cancer. The goal is to control the cancer while avoiding the difficult side effects of hormone therapy and preserving quality of life. Participants will receive Pluvicto injections and a short course of radiation over several weeks.
