New combo therapy tested to keep recurrent prostate cancer at bay

NCT ID NCT06654336

Summary

This study is for men whose prostate cancer has returned and spread to a few sites after initial radiation treatment. It aims to see if adding a 12-month course of hormone-blocking therapy to targeted radiation treatments works better than targeted radiation alone at keeping the cancer from progressing. Researchers will follow 162 participants for 3 years to measure cancer control, side effects, and quality of life.
