First seen May 12, 2026 · Last updated May 13, 2026 · Updated 1 time
Summary
This study tested a new type of radiation therapy for prostate cancer that uses fewer, higher doses of radiation over just five days. The goal was to see if this approach is safe, reduces side effects, and maintains quality of life. 444 men with localized prostate cancer took part, and the treatment used special techniques to spare the urethra and track the prostate's movement.
