Shorter radiation for prostate cancer: same hormone therapy, fewer sessions?

Summary
This study compares two types of radiation therapy for men with high-risk prostate cancer that has not spread. One group gets standard radiation (38 sessions over 8 weeks) and the other gets a shorter course (5 sessions over 5 weeks). Both groups also receive hormone therapy. The goal is to see if the shorter treatment causes fewer side effects and maintains quality of life.
