Shorter radiation course tested for aggressive prostate cancer

NCT ID NCT03938649

Summary

This study compares two different radiation treatment schedules for men with high-risk prostate cancer that hasn't spread. All participants receive hormone therapy plus radiation, but one group gets 5 weekly treatments while the other gets 38 daily treatments. The main goal is to see if the shorter schedule causes fewer side effects while still controlling the cancer effectively.
