Tiny implants deliver cancer drug directly to prostate tumors

Summary
This early-stage study is testing whether small implants called Enolen can safely deliver prostate cancer medication directly into the prostate gland. The study involves 56 men who are already scheduled for prostate removal surgery. Researchers will place the implants into the prostate weeks or months before surgery to see if they effectively deliver the drug where it's needed.
