Race and technology: study tests better prostate cancer detection

NCT ID NCT03234556

Summary

This study compares two methods for finding serious prostate cancer in men with elevated PSA levels. Researchers want to see if using MRI scans to guide biopsies works better than the standard random biopsy approach. The study specifically includes both African American and white men to understand if detection methods work equally well across different racial groups.
