Scientists hunt for DNA clues to target prostate cancer treatment

NCT ID NCT06600802

Summary

This study aims to identify molecular markers in tumor DNA that can predict which patients with advanced, treatment-resistant prostate cancer will respond to a targeted radiation therapy called Lu-PSMA. Researchers will analyze tumor samples from 120 men already scheduled to receive this treatment to look for specific genetic patterns linked to better outcomes. The goal is to develop a future test to help doctors personalize treatment decisions for this serious cancer.
