First seen Feb 18, 2026 · Last updated Mar 26, 2026 · Updated 7 times
Summary
This study is testing whether a procedure to destroy small prostate cancer tumors can be done using only local anesthesia (numbing the area) instead of putting the patient fully to sleep. It will involve 20 men with localized prostate cancer. The main goal is to see if the procedure is feasible and comfortable for patients, potentially making treatment simpler and faster.
