Summary

This study aimed to find the precise dose of the sedative drug propofol needed to make the initial insertion of a colonoscope comfortable for patients aged 65 and older. Researchers tested different doses on 29 elderly patients to determine the amount that successfully prevents pain and movement during the procedure.
