Summary
This study aimed to find the right dose of the sedative propofol needed for comfortable colonoscope insertion in adults. Researchers tested different doses on 27 patients to determine the amount that keeps patients still and pain-free during the first part of the procedure. The goal was to gather data to help doctors use the optimal sedation dose for future colonoscopies.
