New sinus implant study aims to ease breathing for chronic sinusitis patients

Summary
This study is checking how safe and well a drug-releasing sinus implant works in 100 people with chronic sinusitis in Japan. Participants have sinus surgery and then receive the implant to help keep sinuses open. The main goal is to see if symptoms improve after 3 months using a standard sinus questionnaire.
