First seen Oct 31, 2025 · Last updated May 12, 2026 · Updated 27 times
Summary
This study looks at whether giving long-term care homes rapid test results for flu, COVID-19, and RSV can help stop outbreaks faster. About 24 homes will either use rapid point-of-care tests or standard lab tests. The goal is to see if faster results lead to fewer infections and smaller outbreaks among residents.
